These tests take advantage of as many cores as you can throw at them. 875K OC's 4GHz-plus frequency cannot match the Turbo Boost-enabled 980X EE, but it's worth remembering that it is a CPU which costs £850.





The computationally-heavy second pass separates the wheat from the chaff, and it's a case of cores over frequency, because a £165 AMD Phenom II X6 1055T is significantly faster than the more expensive 655K, even when the latter is overclocked.
