There's a good chance you don't need large quantities of DDR3 memory in your home PC - as demonstrated in our latest DDR3 roundup - but there's still something enticing about large quantities of RAM.

For the enthusiast who feels the same way we do, Corsair's all-new 24GB triple-channel Dominator DDR3 memory kit is likely to induce a grin or two.

Designed and tested for use on Intel's X58 platform, the tri-channel kit consists of six 4GB modules clocked at 1,333MHz apiece with latencies of 9-9-9-27 at 1.65V.

Each module features Corsair's patented DHX+ heatsink technology, and Corsair bundles in a "signature American Racing Blue" Dominator Airflow cooler equipped with a duo of 60mm fans.

The usefulness of 24GB of memory for your average home user is practically non-existent, and the $1,349.99 price tag is likely to turn away even the hardened enthusiast. In the business environment, however, 24GB of DDR3 could be mighty useful in high-end computing applications or digital media creation.

Just want to know if the kit will finally help you play Crysis? The 24GB Dominator memory kit is available now from the Corsair online store and comes backed by a lifetime warranty.

Holy crap, I think my prostate just spasmed.

DO WANT!
….
4GB modules are the main thing - 8GB in two slots? Now that, a lot of people would want.

My thoughts exactly… Thou I would be tempted to go for 12Gb triple channel with my 920. Thou I ain't paying 7-900 smackers for the pleasure, but no doubt the price will fall rapidly.
Any chance of making an always on DDR3 hard drive? With UPS protection obviously. Say 32Gb?
