Packard Bell announces its new solution combining the convenience of an ultra-slim multimedia companion, Packard Bell imedia XS, with the fun and easy-to-use touch screen functionalities of the brand new monitor Packard Bell Viseo 200T Touch Edition.

Perfect for saving space, Packard Bell imedia XS is an ultra-slim nettop that can be hooked at the back of the monitor thanks to its Vesa mounting facility.

Packard Bell Viseo 200T Touch Edition is designed for everybody who wants a simple and intuitive way of interacting with their PC.

By simply connecting the two devices, the end-user will immediately access all multimedia applications offered by this comprehensive solution: fun and digital life at your fingertips.

Equipped with an Intel® Atom processor and with an NVIDIA® ION chipset, the Packard Bell imedia XS supports Microsoft® Direct X10 technology. It also comes along with2 GB of memory, 160 GB hard disc drive, a 4-in-1 card reader and 6 USB ports. The complete solution includes a USB wireless keyboard and an wireless optical mouse[1].

The Packard Bell Viseo 200T Touch Edition features 2 built-in stereo speakers and advanced display features such as 16:9 ratio, 5-ms response time and a 50000:1 contrast ratio.

Besides including all Windows® 7 built-in touch functionalities, this all-inclusive solution offers an enriched experience thanks to the Packard Bell TouchPortal.

Packard Bell TouchPortal helps manage Packard Bell TouchGadgets and Microsoft® touch applications; it is an intuitive virtual desktop to enjoy favorite media contents easily and instantly and gives easy access to the Internet and social networks.

The Packard Bell imedia XS and the Viseo 200T Touch Edition are both available in the UK from £249 and £199 respectively.
