email to a friendWe've seen some incredibly small USB pen drives in our time, but Active Media Products reckons its new Wink drive is the smallest 16GB offering on the planet.
The drive, pictured below, measures just 30mm x 12mm x 2.5mm and is available in capacities ranging up to 16GB.
It's certainly the thinnest 16GB USB offerings we've ever seen, but Buffalo's ultra-compact RUF2-PS flash drive might favour notebook users as it protrudes by under 18mm.
Despite Wink's anorexic appearance, Active Media Products actually goes on the record to call it "quite rugged". The company reckons its high-impact polymer outer shell will ensure the drive remains "rugged yet reliable", whilst a waterproof COB unit promises to protect the drive's inner components.
Dumbfounded by its size? You can pick one up from Amazon starting today. Prices start at $7.95 for a 2GB drive, rising to $37.95 for the range-topping 16GB model.
