Despite shedding some light on its forthcoming GeForce 300-series architecture, codenamed Fermi, NVIDIA is keeping relatively quiet in terms of product names or launch dates.
Unfortunately for the Santa Clara, California-based graphics giant, its web-development team appears to have jumped the gun by listing drivers for a yet-to-be-announced line of mobile GeForce 300M GPUs.
Although the listings have since been removed, NVIDIA's Driver Downloads page momentarily revealed five upcoming products; the GeForce GTX 360M, GeForce GT 335M, GeForce GT 330M, GeForce 310M and GeForce 305M.
The product names seem too specific to be typos, but at this early stage it's impossible to tell exactly what they are.
NVIDIA must have Fermi-based mobile products in the works, but there's no telling whether they'll arrive in two months or six months. Given the nomenclature, however, we're leaning toward believing that these are in fact true 300-series parts, as opposed to current-gen architecture die-shrunk and repackaged.
