NVIDIA's G98 GPU plies the low-end of the graphics-card market, found in GeForce 9100/9200/9300 mobile parts. There's nothing new in that, we hear you say.

However, if you're the ultimate geek what better way to show it than have the G98 'immortalised' in a keyring.

Funnily enough, NVIDIA thinks the same thing, because you can buy a G98-based keyring for the princely sum of $9.99, plus taxes and shipping.

With a genuine (broken) G98 chip inside a 1.5in square lucite keyring you not only get a real GPU, but also a key chain, proudly spurts NVIDIA's online shop.

Hands up, who would actually buy one? Is it just too geeky to be cool?

Seems neato to me, but I had a SODIMM as a keychain for 6 months
Let's face it, there are more than enough broken NV mobile GPUs to go around.
I knew people who had 286's as keyrings, back in the day. I think it's too expensive at $9.99, but it's pretty cool…

I've had one of these (top)…

…on my keychain for over six years. All the surface mount chips are long gone, though, so I'm left with just a PCB.
