Non-disclosure agreements just don't seem to be worth the paper they're written on these days.

Following no end of Internet leaks, we already know everything there is to know about AMD's Radeon HD 4890 - a yet-to-be-announced card that's been benchmarked and pictured, had its specification revealed, its pricing established at around £230 for PowerColor's 1GB model, its overclocking prowess shown off, and its launch date moved forward to April 2nd, too.

Now, details of its direct competitor - NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 275 - are also slipping into the public domain. We've already detailed the card's specification, but it's now seemingly confirmed to have had its launch date hurried forward to April 2nd in order to go head-to-head with AMD's latest.

It comes as little surprise, but with both parties eager to get to market first, it'll be interesting to see if either of them manage hard launches as opposed to the paper launches we've become accustomed too.

Mind you, judging by the currently active HEXUS.net poll, 75 per cent of voters simply aren't interested in either of the aforementioned GPUs. That's the current consensus, but if you're yet to make up your mind, stay tuned for our forthcoming in-depth reviews - no prizes for guessing what date they'll be published.

There are so many GTX 2xx series released by NVIDIA that I have lost track which is what , whihc is beter, etc.
I'm betting there will not be any 275s in stock until the 14th, almost a fortnight after the “launch”. Still, if this crazy war between ATI and Nvidia results in a better bang for the consumer buck then I'm ok with it.
