We've seen a spate of notebook coolers hit the market recently, and most have been more form over function.

Arctic Cooling is now entering the fray with a soon-to-be-released Arctic NC, sporting a couple of USB-powered 60mm PWM fans that can be user-controlled to spin between 800rpm and 2,000rpm.

Look around the other side and there's a four-port USB hub, too. Suitable for notebooks between 12in and 19in - covering the majority out there - the Arctic NC should cost around $29 when released in a couple of months time.

Nothing fancy, sure, but I'm going to slide my Dell XPS M1330 over one and hope the graphics card plays ball.
