The fastest single-GPU graphics card available?

There hasn't exactly been a shortage of high-end water-cooled NVIDIA GPUs this past month, but here's another one to sink your barbs into - ZOTAC's GeForce GTX 285 Infinity Edition.

Slotting in below its own GeForce GTX 295 Infinity Edition, the water-cooled 285 variant will go head to head with the likes of EVGA's GeForce GTX 285 HydroCopper.

Residing on ZOTAC's black PCB is a custom all-copper water block with 3/8in fittings - requiring a separate water-cooling system, of course.

With the added cooling ability, ZOTAC has seen fit to pre-overclock this one pretty nicely. Users will find the GPU raised from 648MHz to 722MHz, the card's 240 stream processors operate at 1,584MHz - up from 1,476 - and its 1GB of GDDR3 memory is overclocked from 1,998MHz to a blazing 2,700MHz.

NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 285 is already the world's fastest single-GPU graphics card, and this healthy bump in frequencies will only enhance that reputation.

Sweetening the deal that little bit more is a bundled copy of Codemasters' Race Driver: GRID, and ZOTAC will be backing the card with its extended warranty, too. No word on pricing, but we're almost certain it'll cost more than a reference GeForce GTX 295.
