Dell has officially taken the wraps off its next netbook offerings - the Inspiron Mini 10.
The Atom-powered system, pictured below, sits nicely between the existing Inspiron Mini 9 and Inspiron Mini 12. It sports a 10.1in LED display that provides a 1,024x576 resolution, and can be configured with a choice of Intel Atom processors - including the 1.33GHz Intel Atom Z520 and 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z530.
On top of that, there's all sorts of netbook familiarity. Users can expect 1GB of DDR2 memory, Intel's integrated GMA500 graphics, up to a 160GB hard disk, a built-in webcam, Wi-Fi connectivity, and Microsoft's Windows XP operating system.
As of today, a pre-configured model is being offered exclusive to US customers through QVC. Dell expects to make the system available via Dell.com on February 26th, and it should roll out to other regions shortly after.
The base model - featuring the 1.3GHz Atom processor and a lacklustre three-cell battery - will be listed at $399.
