We're pretty fond of Cooler Master's COSMOS chassis, but the black-on-silver aesthetics are starting to look a little tired.

In an effort to spice things up, Cooler Master will be letting loose a special edition COSMOS that's entirely black. The exclusive chassis will be manufactured in limited quantities (500 are expected) and will be all-black on both the inside and outside.

Other details remain few and far between, but reports indicate that the black COSMOS will benefit from slightly spruced-up cooling, a tinted side-panel and a swanky new logo. We'd expect a price premium to be thrown into the mix, too.

A teaser website is up and running at coolermaster.com/black, but it looks as though we're being kept in the dark until December 11th 2008.

No news on an all-black COSMOS S, but we'd venture to guess that it's in the pipeline.
