We first took a look at a PowerColor HD 4850 card back in July, shortly after the official launch of AMD's much-anticipated Radeon HD 4850 and HD 4870 series GPUs.

We concluded that, on balance, and at that time, it was a better choice than its NVIDIA rivals and we gave it the coveted HEXUS.gaming recommended award.

With a price premium of circa £15 above the cost of a stock-clocked HD 4850, does the PowerColor PCS+ Radeon HD 4850 deliver enough to warrant its increased price?
