Both companies have confirmed what we've come to believe, that is, that the performance delta between regular PCs and DTR laptops has almost diminished into literally nothing. Xtreme Ti ups the backbreaking ante to 5.7kg. You can have performance and huge wide-aspect displays, sure, but at the obvious cost of portability.
There has to be some middle ground between performance and portability. After all, that's what a laptop is all about; the ability to carry it around with you on a day-to-day basis and still have a chunk of mains-operated power when the need arises. The best of both worlds, if you will.
