QNAP today expanded its NAS line-up with the introduction of the one-bay TS-109 Pro II and two-bay TS-209 Pro II.

The NAS devices, aimed at SOHO and business users, are effectively an upgrade of the previous generation TS-109 and TS-209. The new Pro II models feature a Marvell 500MHz CPU and an improved 256MiB of DDR2 memory - double that of its predecessors.

got one of these babies last week: TS-109II - pro is only required in a linux/ad network environment.

One of the best purchases I've made - basically a FULL server - helps if you know a little linux to exploit it fully as there's tons of mods available to install which enhance functionality further. Check out the QNAP forums for more info on the other software available.

:) :) :)
I'm considering buying one as well. From what I understand the choice of the HDD is quite crucial, do you have any recommendations?
