Seamless WiFi to WiMAX switch on show at Mobile World Congress

Seamless Wi-Fi isn't exactly new, there are already many companies looking into the prospect and some already offer products aiming to achieve the desired seamless effect.

Intel and Nokia are teaming up to do the same themselves and their seamless WiFi to WiMAX demonstration at Barcelona's Mobile World Congress has caught my eye.

Here's a video from Intel demonstrating the technology:

It's easy to see why such a technology could prove to be oh so useful. With wireless devices and broadband becoming ever popular, the best way to achieve uninterrupted connectivity maybe via seamless switching from different connections and who knows, perhaps different providers as well.
