Zeus Jupiter, it's errr...shiny.

You can never have too much bling and it seems you can never have too much money either. At least, that's what Zeus will be hoping with its two new PCs, the Zeus Jupiter and the Zeus Mars.

Pictured below, you might mistake these two sparkly looking items for handbags. But no ma'am, these are PCs, and in them you'll find an Intel Core 2 Duo 3GHz CPU, a 256MB GeForce 7200GS, 1TB of hard disk space, 2GBs of RAM, a choice of Blu-Ray or HD DVD and Vista Ultimate, too.

Zeus rules the bling

However, you wouldn't be buying these machines for the spec alone. The Jupiter features a solid-platinum case encrusted with diamonds. It'll cost you some ¥80,000,000 - that's approximately £375,000.

Of course, that could be out of some users' price range. Hence, there's also the Zeus Mars, this one drops the expensive platinum case in favour of a cheaper gold offering. The Mars can be yours for only ¥60,000,000 (£280,000).

So, who's selling their house to get one?

What do you get when you take a solid platinum computer case and encrust it with diamonds?
Apparently you get something butt ugly.
For that kind of money, you'd think they'd at least bother to put something half decent inside…
something Tiggerai would buy I suppose!

If Tiggerai won the lottery maybe. even selling my house wouldn't buy one of those.

However, if someone wanted to buy me one, and the decent upgrade components (I don't do Intel) to go in it, then I wouldn't say no. Just not the gold version kplzthx. It wouldn't go with my furniture.

I'm sure someone could mod one with a nice coating of silver paint and a few rhinestones.
I think I've just found my new modding project…
It reminds me of those PCs SavRow used to make before they went bust.
