CHATSWORTH, CA — January 28, 2008 — Diamond Multimedia (www.diamondmm.com), a leading manufacturer of PC graphics cards, sound cards, TV tuner cards and communications products, introduced today four ATI Radeon™ graphics card models:  the HD 3870 X2 1024MB, the HD 3650 1024MB, the HD 3650 512MB and the HD 3450 512MB, all single slot.  These GPUs are PCI Express 2.0 versions and feature DirectX™ 10.1 gaming power with 4.1 Shader Model support.  As with prior 3000 series models, these cards run cool, quiet and efficiently with per watt and energy-saving features like the 55nm process technology and ATI PowerPlay™.

The Radeon HD 3870 X2 boasts dual 3870 processors, 1024MB of DDR3 memory and a clock speed of 825 MHz.  The HD 3870 X2’s dual processors work harmoniously to produce over 1 teraFLOPS of GPU computer power.  Go ahead and Game Hard.

The Radeon HD 3650 is configured with either 1024MB of DDR2 memory or 512MB of DDR2 memory, both with a clock speed of 725 MHz.  The Radeon 3450 also comes with 512MB of DDR2 memory, but has a clock speed of 600 MHz.  Ideal for gaming, photo or video editing and full enjoyment of Windows Vista features.  Combine the ATI Radeon™ HD 3450 or HD 3650 graphics card with a compatible AMD 7-Series Integrated Chipset to improve gaming performance and multi-monitor productivity.

Rest assured that all four cards provide uncompromising HD video via ATI Avivo™ display technology.  The latest Blu-ray and HD DVD movies play effortlessly at full 1080p and digital content can be fully enjoyed with HDMI and built in 5.1 surround sound.  Upgrade to even greater 3D performance quickly and easily thanks to plug-and-play ATI CrossFireX technology that supports up to four GPUs.

All Diamond video cards carry the Diamond guarantee of quality assurance. Unlike many cards that are simply first to market, Diamond carefully tests and retests every new model for its ratio of performance to reliability. Diamond is legendary in the PC video card business for its less than 1 percent return rate versus an industry average of approximately 10 percent. Diamond cards use superior connectors, cables and components, as well as undergo more thorough testing for heat susceptibility and durability.
