Available immediately are the IX and XI gaming notebooks, with additional mobile multimedia, workstation and professional audio models to follow.

The Mojave IX and XI are based on the Intel® Santa Rosa 'Refresh' platform, allowing the choice of the worlds fastest mobile CPU the forthcoming Intel® Core™ 2 Extreme X9000. When combined with an NVIDIA® GeForce™ 8800M GTX graphics card, OCZ DDR2-5400 memory and a 17” 1920 x 1200 X-Glass LCD TFT, you have one of the fastest gaming notebook's available.

The Mojave IX and XI offer a choice of Next Generation High Definition Optical Drives, Kobalt being the UK's only notebook manufacturer to offer the choice of DVD, HD-DVD or Blu-Ray drives. Owners can now enjoy their current HD movie collection, no matter what the format, in full 1080i (1). Kobalt also offer a free 30 day zero dead pixel guarantee giving owners the piece of mind that should any dead pixel develop within this time the LCD screen will be exchanged free of charge.

As with all Kobalt systems, each Mojave notebook is fully configurable through the Kobalt website. Options include an additional monitor (via the DVI/ HDCP output), multiple operating systems and gaming mice from manufacturers including Logitech™ and Razer™.
