Firefox 3, the next version of Mozilla's cross platform browser is available in beta form for developers and other users wishing to test the software, give feedback and generally satisfy their curiosity.

Mozilla claim version 3 of its browser has been "in development for the past 27 months and includes nearly 2 million lines of code changes, fixing more than 11,000 issues". Despite the huge amount of work already carried out, Mozilla do warn that this is an early beta version and users should be aware that bugs are expected and users of current Firefox versions "should not expect their add-ons to work properly with this beta".
