Samsung shows off new credit-card-size phone

HEXUS.CEBIT Part of Samsung's new slim range - but looking very different from its stablemates - the SGH-P300 is a credit-card-sized phone packing a 1.3 mega pixel camera and a 1.8in/256,000 TFT LCD screen.

The tri-band handset also features 80mb of embedded memory and tips the scales at a very respectable 81 grams. The handset supports MPEG4 video messaging and offers comprehensive audio support- MP3/AAC/AAC+ and e-AAC formats - with the obligatory BlueTooth connectivity thrown in.

The SGH-P300, expected later this year, differs greatly from the rest of the Samsung range on display at CeBIT. It was good to see diversity coming into the Samsung range, especially with the quality of the SGH-P300.
