IN-FUSIO announces UK launch of Sabre Wulf Mobile, based on the video game developed by Rare Limited

UK, London, 30 June 2005 — IN-FUSIO, the publisher of top-of-the-range games for mobile phones, today announces the launch of the graphically superb Sabre Wulf® Mobile, based on the Game Boy Advance (GBA) blockbuster developed by Rare Studios. The game, made under license from Microsoft Corporation, is available mid-July to UK gamers from O2 and Orange to a wide array of handsets.

Sabre Wulf Mobile, which has the same unique characters and game play as the legendary GBA title, invites gamers to become the intrepid adventurer Sabreman, who, armed only with his knowledge of the creatures he finds during his journey, has to hunt down the fearsome Sabre Wulf over 15 huge levels. The game’s eponymous creature has been unleashed after the amulet that kept it trapped in a statue was broken. Needless to say he’s a little mad. Players have to guide Sabreman in his quest to retrieve the shattered pieces of the amulet and the ultimate showdown with Sabre Wulf.

Inside each of the game’s levels Sabreman has to collect the items stolen by Sabre Wulf and quickly return them to his camp while fleeing from the wolf creature. Sabreman can also pick up extra points along the way by collecting gold coins. To help him complete his quest Sabreman can use the magic animals that he comes across to help him blow up obstacles, reach inaccessible places and help him escape from enemies.

However, the number of magic animals that Sabreman can carry in his magic bag at any one time is limited, and each one can only be used once per level. Sabreman can also collect armour bonuses along the way to protect him from the next big hit.

“Sabre Wulf Mobile is the latest IN-FUSIO game that’s based on a game developed by Rare Studios, and, like the others, remains authentic to the original,” said Richard Moureaud, Senior Product Manager at IN-FUSIO. Many Sabre Wulf fans who’ve played it on the Game Boy Advance regard it as a classic. The mobile version combines the same excellent graphics and unique characters, with dramatic platform adventure game play. It has all the necessary ingredients to give gamers an excellent gaming experience.”
