Yorkshire distributor Target Components celebrated ten years of trading last Friday and HEXUS.channel popped up to its HQ in Castleford to wish it happy birthday.

Target had pitched a marquee at the front of its offices and had done a good job of getting a decent number of its vendor partners to attend and exhibit. Consequently over150 resellers also registered to attend.

We were going to give the credit for organising the event to market development director Randall Pevin, but he was quick to point out that the hard work was actually done by a crack team of Target employees led by Sonya Cubbage, Eileen Stewart, Chris Pyatt and Richard Taylor.

Pevin told HEXUS.channel: "Aside from having the opportunity to thank our loyal customers and partners for their contributions to Target's success over the past ten years, we raised a significant amount in donations for our chosen charity, Children with Leukaemia.

"Approximately 200 were in attendance throughout the day and the entire event was such a success that we are seriously considering making it a yearly fixture on Target's calendar."

Here he is in the middle, sharing a joke with Target MD Paul Cubbage (left) and HEXUS.channel editor Scott Bicheno (right). We apologise in advance for the ubiquity of Bicheno in these photos and thank readers for their patient indulgence.
