To celebrate this year's CeBIT in Hannover, Germany, ASUS asked us if we'd like to do a give away for them. We said "hell yeah".

So what is the prize? Well, the sleuths amongst you (who've read the article title) will have worked out that it's an ASUS RoG Maximus III Extreme mainboard. This board is an LGA1156 model sporting the Intel P55 chipset and supporting Intel Core i7, i5 and i3 processors.

There are a heap of gaming and enthusiast friendly features, including dual BIOS, MemOK - which aims to stamp out memory compatibility issues, a heap of tweaking and overclocking tools, plus the USB BIOS flashback feature, which lets users flash the BIOS from standby power using a USB flash drive.

For some hot chip-on-chip action, check out the pic below...

Fancy yourself a bit of that? Then all you have to do is answer the following question...

What does the RoG in ASUS's product lines stand for?

  • Republic of Gamers
  • Rapid Overclocking Gadgets
  • Really old Grandads

If you need a hand, hit the RoG Maximus III Extreme product page, where you should be able to get the info you need. Then, fill out the entry form and cross your fingers. The competition closes on 29th March... good luck!

This would be the best prize I could ever win, the only thing I need is a black and red motherboard.

Shame I will never win it haha :(
